OVERVIEW
The Kenda K401 Farm Rib is an all season tire made for tractors.
Excellent all season performance is provided with this tire. Better dry, wet, and light winter weather grip is ensured thanks to the optimal tread design. The all season compound ensures the rubber stays flexible in changing temperatures. These elements ensure the tire's safer performance throughout the year.
Thanks to the tire's optimal footprint, constant terrain contact is ensured. The model's continuous surface contact boosts steering responsiveness and driving stability. This helps enhance the tire's steering response time and accuracy, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. Cornering and maneuvering are improved, as well. All these elements allow the driver to have full control over the vehicle.
The tread design offers better flotation ability and soft traction, which eases the driving pressure off the tire. In this way, the tire can decrease the possibility of field retention, as it does not allow excessive pressure to loosen up the ground. As the tire resists field retention, the soil can maintain its excellent crop-growing capability. In this manner, the tire offers a field-friendly driving experience.
The Kenda K401 Farm Rib features a strengthened internal structure and compound that ensures the tire does not deform under heavy loads and driving pressure. This allows the tire to improve its overall load durability, allowing it to securely carry and withstand larger loads.
This is a bias ply tire. Due to the tire's internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller bias ply tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire's non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated. This is not constructional damage or an issue; it is a normal occurrence with such tires. In such cases, the tire needs to be mounted and inflated to the proper PSI or, in some instances, an inner tube needs to be added. The proper PSI and the inner tube are able to maintain the tire's ideal shape, preventing the bias plies from looking deformed. This ensures their performing safety and durability.
The photo is a representation of the tire's possible deformation, it does not represent the specific tire model, size, tread pattern and application.

This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
