OVERVIEW
The General Altimax RT45 is a touring, all season tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs. General offers a 75,000 mile tread wear warranty with the H and T speed-rated sizes, and a 65, 000 mile treadwear warranty with the V speed-rated sizes of this model.
Excellent performance is promoted with this tread design and all season compound. These elements work together to improve dry, wet, and winter-weather traction. In other words, this tread pattern can follow the road surface in all weather conditions, while the all season compound keeps the rubber flexible in warm and cold temperatures. On the other hand, large circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning, by eliminating water and slush from the footprint in wet situations.
The model also upgrades controllability. The asymmetric tread design manages to maintain close road contact at all times. This close contact improves steering responsiveness and driving stability. The steering response time becomes faster and more accurate to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. If an order is placed before 1 pm EST on a business day we ship the order the same day.
If it is placed after 1 pm EST or over the weekend, we will ship the order out the following business day. Depending where you are located in the 48 contiguous states, our shipping courier will take approximately 1-6 business days to deliver the tires to you from any of our four main warehouses located in Pennsylvania, Texas, and Florida and/or our smaller warehouses which are located across the country.
Due to the nature of shipping, packages may be separated at the shipping courier's facility and not delivered on the same day, even though shipped together. You'll receive a master tracking number via email to check on the courier's website for updates. For instance, you may receive 3 tires on one day and the 4th on the following day, or one tire one day and another the day after. We understand this may be inconvenient at times but it's beyond our control.
