OVERVIEW
The Hemisphere Aethon UHP III is a high performance, all season tire made for passenger vehicles.
The model provides excellent high speed durability. The ideal tread design, the high performance compound, and the strengthened structure work together to optimize the tire’s high speed performance. This tread pattern evenly distributes the driving pressure along the tread area, while the compound is heat-resistant. These work together to actively resist heat build-up along the tread area. The strengthened internal structure maintains the optimal tire shape under the high speed driving pressure affecting the model. This allows the tire to perform at its best high speed capability.
The ideal tread design and the strong structure work together to upgrade the high speed controllability. The asymmetric tread pattern maintains close road contact in order to upgrade steering responsiveness and driving stability. As a result, the tire offers great steering response time and accuracy to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. Cornering is upgraded with the detailed shoulder block placement provides additional biting edges. The tread pattern utilizes the sipe and groove pattern to create friction when braking, significantly shortening the tire’s overall braking distance.
The model provides great all season traction. The ideal tread design and the all season compound increase the tire’s traction in dry, wet, and winter-weather conditions. In other words, the ideal tread pattern generates biting edges to increase road grip, while the silica compound keeps the rubber flexible in changing temperatures. At the same time, circumferential grooves effectively eliminate water and slush from the footprint. They resist hydroplaning and ensure the tire’s safe performance, even on wet roads.
The Hemisphere Aethon UHP III offers high driving comfort levels. The optimal block pattern does not allow airwaves to enter the footprint while the tires are in motion. In this manner, sound waves are not generated and it cannot diminish the passengers' driving enjoyment. The model promotes a comfortable driving experience.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
