Accelera Alpha

Summer

Passenger

Performance

The Accelera Alpha is a performance and high performance, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. The tire has superb dry, wet, and winter traction and it avoids hydroplaning in deeper water due to the V-shaped tread design. This model offers a longer lasting tread life as the pressure is balanced by the tire's road contact area, preventing irregular wear on the tires. It has a better braking distance, making it a safer drive and it offers comfort and silence with reduced road noise. The Alpha is an economic tire, which helps lower fuel usage and CO2 emissions.

Features

Extra Comfort

The tire offers a quiet and comfortable drive with reduced road noise and a vibration free ride.

Longer Tread Life

The optimized road contact surface takes pressure off of the tire and allows for even wear, elongating its life.

Excellent Grip

This model has excellent dry and wet road grip even at higher speeds or while cornering.

Braking Distance

The tire is safer thanks to being manufactured using a special tire compound which shortens the braking distance.

Hydroplaning Resistance

The model effectively resists dangerous hydroplaning, by eliminating water with the V-shaped tread pattern.

Fuel Efficiency

The tire's lowered rolling resistance makes it more economic, as it lessens the fuel usage.

Accelera was a win!

02/28/25

I am very pleased with my purchase of Accelera tires, for my X1/9 Fiat. Choices are limited in the 185/60-R13 size. I had been hesitant to try, because some reviews suggested they may not have good traction turning on wet roads, and X1/9s have a very light front end. However, I had no such problem. I found they did very well on the wet roads, and good traction for summer performance driving,. I found they felt very safe and stable at high speed highway driving. Im not saying these budget priced tires are a road race level tires, but plenty enough performance for an aggressively driven street classic sports car. I would buy again. Glad these are available.
