The Accelera Alpha is a performance and high performance, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. The tire has superb dry, wet, and winter traction and it avoids hydroplaning in deeper water due to the V-shaped tread design. This model offers a longer lasting tread life as the pressure is balanced by the tire's road contact area, preventing irregular wear on the tires. It has a better braking distance, making it a safer drive and it offers comfort and silence with reduced road noise. The Alpha is an economic tire, which helps lower fuel usage and CO2 emissions.

Accelera was a win!

I am very pleased with my purchase of Accelera tires, for my X1/9 Fiat. Choices are limited in the 185/60-R13 size. I had been hesitant to try, because some reviews suggested they may not have good traction turning on wet roads, and X1/9s have a very light front end. However, I had no such problem. I found they did very well on the wet roads, and good traction for summer performance driving,. I found they felt very safe and stable at high speed highway driving. Im not saying these budget priced tires are a road race level tires, but plenty enough performance for an aggressively driven street classic sports car. I would buy again. Glad these are available.
