OVERVIEW

The Yokohama Y870B is an all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs.

This is a temporary spare tire, which was designed to be used when one of the vehicle's regular tires fails. These tires are made with a smaller physical size, which helps conserve trunk space. However, this also comes with some downsides. Such tires are not as strong as regular tires and, due to this, they are only for temporary use at moderate speeds. Still, they are an excellent spare tire choice.

The tread design and the all season compound offer good traction. Their combination provides road grip in dry, wet, and light winter conditions. The tread block pattern and the groove placement follow the road and generate the necessary biting edges to create traction. The compound keeps the tire pliable in various temperatures, enabling its safer performance.
