OVERVIEW

The Yokohama Geolandar H/T G033 (MZ) is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. This model is the original equipment tire of select Mitsubishi and Toyota vehicles.

The tire promotes an excellent all weather traction. The asymmetric tread design with the optimal lateral sipe pattern and the all season tire compound upgrade the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The maintained road grip of the siping pattern enhances the year round driving safety, while the compound keeps the tire's rubber flexibility throughout the tire's performance. The circumferential grooves and the open shoulder detail boost the hydroplaning resistance. They boost the model's water and slush dispersing capability and power to ensure a secure year round driving experience.

The model's asymmetric pattern keeps the tire's contact with the road surface at all times. The better road contact upgrades the steering responsiveness and the driving stability significantly. In this manner, the steering becomes faster and more precise in its steering responsiveness and accuracy, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. The shoulder tread block placement upgrades the cornering ability and power. This enhances the cornering by improving the number of biting edges gripping the road surface. The safer controllability ensures a superb driving safety.

The tread design's optimal road contact also lengthens the tread life. The ideal road contact enables the tire to evenly circulate the driving pressure along the tread area. The evenly distributed forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoids uneven tread wear formation, extending the tread life and the tire's usability. This is achieved as the tread pattern helps prevent irregular wear formations along the tread area. The extended usability makes the tire more cost efficient in the long run.

The Geolandar H/T G033 (MZ) guarantees a quiet performance. The tread design features a variable pitch sequence that decreases the road noise levels heard while the tires are in motion. This pitch variation generates a sound frequency that negates the road noise levels created during the drive. As a result, the road and tread pattern noise do not reach the vehicle's cabin and do not dampen the passengers' driving enjoyment, promoting a comfortable drive.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
