OVERVIEW

The Yokohama Geolandar G91L is a touring, all season tire made for passenger vehicles.

The tire's tread area and compound blend boost its usability. The optimized tire footprint spreads driving pressure equally across the tread area. The even distribution of the forces of acceleration, cornering, and braking prevents irregular wear across the tread area. As a result, the ideal tread pattern is resistant to uneven tread wear as it increases the tire's driving stability. The improved stability, the slower wearing tread, and the prevention of uneven wear combined extend the tire's usability.

This model features an ideal tread pattern and a stabilized footprint to provide a noise-free and comfortable performance. The optimized tread pattern maintains constant road contact. It allows the tire to closely follow the road surface, which decreases the road vibrations felt during the drive. The special tread design also lowers the road noise heard in the vehicle's cabin. The tread design negates sound waves by generating a sound frequency that cancels them out while the tires are in motion. The result is an enjoyable road noise and vibration-free driving experience.

Excellent year-round traction is provided with this tire. The ideal tread pattern and the all season compound enhance the tire's dry, wet, and winter weather grip. In this manner, the optimized tread design closely follows the road surface at all times, while the all season compound keeps the rubber flexible in changing temperatures. Circumferential grooves effectively eliminate water and slush from the footprint in order to resist hydroplaning.

The Yokohama Geolandar G91L's ideal tread design ensures surface contact during the performance. Better road contact is ensured with the symmetric ribbed tread design. As a result, the tire manages to effectively increase steering responsiveness and driving stability. They increase the driver's control over the vehicle, while other tread elements enhance maneuvering as well. In this manner, the tire also upgrades its cornering and braking capabilities, offering a secure drive.

This specific tire is marked with CZ as it is the original equipment of Subaru vehicles.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
