FEATURES AND BENEFITS

• All weather traction

• Longer lasting tread life

OVERVIEW

The Yokohama Geolandar G91A (MZ) is a highway terrain, all season tire made for SUVs. This specific tire is marked with MZ as it is the original equipment of Mitsubishi/Toyota vehicles.

This tire has excellent all season traction in dry, wet, and winter weather conditions. The tread design and the all season compound provide extra biting edges, which enhance driving safety. The tire can easily handle snow-covered roads, thanks to the unique tread design. The tire's safety is further improved as circumferential grooves eliminate water and slush from below the footprint. This boosts hydroplaning resistance in dangerous situations.

This model upgrades its controllability by using the ideal asymmetric tread design. The tread elements closely follow and maintain surface contact, which enhances steering responsiveness and driving stability. The constant road contact enhances the steering response time and accuracy, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure. The outer shoulder tread area helps to improve cornering and maneuvering. The tread elements increase the number of biting edges gripping the road surface. The tread design and the durable compound guarantee a safe driving experience.

The Yokohama Geolandar G91A (MZ) provides a lengthened tread life. The footprint manages to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The force of acceleration, cornering, and braking equally circulate on the tire's surface. This actively prevents irregular tread wear formations. The special tread design and the constant road contact ease the pressure off the footprint and slows the tread wear rate down. As a result, this model promotes a longer-lasting tread life and usability.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
