OVERVIEW

The Yokohama Geolandar CV 4S is a performance, all weather tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs. This model has some touring sizes too. Yokohama offers a 60,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.

Great performance and handling are offered with this tire. The maintained surface contact greatly improves surface contact while the tires are in motion. The asymmetric tread design greatly upgrades road contact at all times. As a result, the tire improves steering responsiveness and driving stability. This guarantees a quicker and more precise steering response time and accuracy to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. This combination guarantees a safe performance.

All weather traction is offered with this model. The ideal tread design and the durable all weather compound enhance dry, wet, and winter-weather road grip. The optimized siping pattern and the ideally placed tread elements increase road grip with additional biting edges. The compound keeps its rubber flexible in various temperatures. As a result, the tire remains pliable from the heat of summer to colder winter conditions. Circumferential and angled lateral grooves prevent hydroplaning. They disperse water and slush from the footprint.

Lengthened usability is guaranteed. The ideal tread pattern and the rubber compound resist irregular and premature wear formations along the tread area. This tread ensures even pressure circulation, in order to prevent irregular wear formations, while the rubber compound slows the treadwear rate down. This decreased and even wear leads to the tire's longer-lasting tread life.

The Yokohama Geolandar CV 4S provides a quiet and comfortable driving experience. The optimal tread design channels airwaves through the footprint, making sure they do not come into contact with the tread elements. As a result, the tire avoids sound wave formations. The tire prevents sound waves from reaching the passengers and ruining their driving enjoyment. Better comfort levels promote a quiet driving experience.

All weather tires receive the three mountain peak and snowflake (3PMS) symbol for their exceptional winter weather performance. They are all season tires with extra winter weather grip, in order to guarantee safer year-round durability. This ensures their true and secure driving ability throughout the year.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
