FEATURES AND BENEFITS

• All terrain traction
• Longer-lasting tread life

OVERVIEW

The Yokohama Geolandar A/T XD is an all terrain, all weather tire manufactured for light trucks.

The tire offers excellent service life. The wider, flat footprint allows the tire to stabilize the footprint, evenly circulating driving pressure. As a result, it manages to resists both irregular and premature wear across the tread area. Additionally, the special high-density compound blend guards the tire against tread damage. It prevents the tread's chipping, cracking, tearing throughout the performance. The combination of these elements significantly increases the tire's usability.

Great on- and off-road traction is offered with this model. The Geo-Shield technology and the sidewall armor work together with the aggressive tread design to achieve this. Stronger tread elements allow the tire to enhance its consistent forward motion on various surfaces. Soft, loose, and uneven terrain grip is guaranteed in this manner, thanks to the sideway biting edges improved with this model. The tread features mud and snow ejectors that eliminate mud, snow, and rocks stuck between the tread elements. In this manner, stone retention is resisted, while optimizing the off-road performance.

The Yokohama Geolandar A/T XD ensures great all weather traction. The aggressive tread design sports large blocks, zigzag sipes, and wide grooves which enhance the tire's dry, wet, and winter weather performance. These tread elements ensure grip on road surfaces throughout the year, while keeping the model pliable in various temperatures with the optimal tread elements. During the on-road drive, the tire prevents hydroplaning. The tread area is pinned for studs, which further boost winter traction. This tire is marked with the 3PMS symbol for severe winter use.

All weather tires receive the three mountain peak and snowflake (3PMS) symbol for their exceptional winter weather performance. They are all season tires with extra winter weather grip, in order to guarantee safer year-round durability. This ensures their true and secure driving ability throughout the year.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
