OVERVIEW

The Yokohama AVID S34FV (MZ) is a performance, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. This specific tire is marked with MZ as it is the original equipment of Mitsubishi/Toyota vehicles.

The model upgrades its controllability with the ideal tread design. The symmetric ribbed tread block placement enhances the tire's surface contact during the drive. The maintained road contact, in this manner, increases the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The structural stability is enhanced and the steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver's commands. The shoulder tread block placement upgrades the cornering and maneuvering ability and power. This enables the tire to enhance the driver's control over the vehicle in various conditions.

The tire promotes great all weather traction. The tread design and all season compound work together to improve the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The tread design with the detailed siping pattern increases the number of biting edges gripping the road surface with additional biting edges. The compound, on the other hand, keeps the rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures. The tread's circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning. They channel water and slush from below the footprint, which avoids hydroplaning and improves the wet and slippery performance.

The AVID S34FV (MZ) improves the driving comfort levels. The tread design features a variable phase shift along the tire's footprint. This phase shift manages to minimize the road and tread pattern noise generated while the tires are in motion. It creates a special sound cancelling frequency, which lowers the road noise levels heard in the vehicle's cabin. The tread design's close and constant road contact enables the model to absorb the shock of driving. This significantly lessens the road vibrations felt by the passengers during the drive. This combination prevents road disturbances from dampening the passengers' driving enjoyment, promoting a quiet and comfortable driving experience.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
