OVERVIEW

The Thunderer Ranger A/T R404 is an all terrain, all season tire made for light trucks and SUVs.

The aggressive tread design increases the all terrain traction. The tread design features large, staggered blocks and a high void ratio that enhance the tire’s on-road grip and soft, loose, and uneven terrain traction. This ensures a safer and effortless forward motion on various terrains, without the fear of the tire getting stuck. The tread design helps keep the footprint clean as well. The staggered blocks and the open shoulder design eliminate mud and snow stuck between the tread elements, preventing them from blocking the tire’s surface contact. On the other hand, the self-cleaning nature of the tread prevents stone retention as well.

The tire offers great all season traction, optimizing its year-round performance. This exceptional performance is guaranteed with the combination of the tread design and the all season compound. Dry, wet, and winter grip is ensured. The sipes along the tread generate biting edges, which boost traction. On the other hand, the compound keeps the tire pliable in various temperatures. Grooves prevent on-road hydroplaning as they help guide water and slush through the footprint, further increasing the tire’s wet grip.

The optimized tread elements and their constant contact with the driving surface upgrade controllability in all seasons. The tire manages to maintain surface contact throughout the drive. This boosts steering responsiveness and driving stability at all times, thanks to the aggressive tread design. This combination guarantees the driver better control over the vehicle at all times. Maneuvering is also upgraded thanks to the optimal tread elements. In other words, the tire’s cornering and braking are boosted, ensuring the driver’s control over the vehicle.

The Thunderer Ranger A/T R404 increases the load durability and damage resistance. The casing works together with the tread design and the compound to achieve this. The stronger construction does not deform under load and driving pressure, upgrading its load capacity. On the other hand, these improvements enable the tire’s prevention of casing and tread damage. These elements prolong the tire’s service life by avoiding various types of damage.

Not all tire sizes are suitable for all vehicle types. Please refer to the item specifications for accurate information about vehicle type fitment for this particular size.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
