OVERVIEW

The Summit Ultramax UHP A/S is a performance and high performance, all season tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Summit offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.

Exceptional high speed handling and maneuvering are ensured. The better road contact upgrades steering responsiveness and driving stability, ensuring the driver’s better control over the vehicle. In other words, the tire is quicker and more precise in its response to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. This combination enables the driver to confidently maneuver the vehicle during its performance.

The tire’s high speed capability is optimized for maximum safety. The special heat-resistant compound elements and the better structural stability allow the tire to enhance its high speed capability. The reinforced compound elements prevent heat build-up along the tread area, minimizing the pressure affecting the tire. The structure does not allow the tire to deform under driving pressure. This greatly enhances the high speed driving experience.

Better dry, wet, and winter grip is guaranteed with this model. The optimized tread design keeps the surface contact in versatile weather conditions, while the all season compound maintains flexibility in warm and cold temperatures. They increase dry, wet, and winter-weather traction. On the other hand, wide grooves prevent hydroplaning. They eliminate water and slush from the footprint, in order to protect the tire against slipping in wet situations.

The Summit Ultramax UHP A/S ensures high driving comfort levels. The footprint features a variable pitch pattern, which helps keep road noise low. This pattern generates a special sound frequency while the tires are in motion. As a result, the tire negates sound waves before they can reach the vehicle’s cabin and ruin the passengers’ driving enjoyment. Better comfort provides an enjoyable driving experience.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
