OVERVIEW

The Radar Dimax AS-8 is a performance and high performance, depending on the speed rating of the specific tire size, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Radar offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with the W and Y speed rated sizes and a 60,000 mile treadwear warranty with the H and V speed rated sizes of this tire model.

Radar offers a Road Hazard warranty with this tire model. Damaged tires which are within the first 2/32 or tread wear or the first year after purchase of the tire – whichever comes first – are eligible for an equivalent replacement. Customers need to follow the manufacturer’s requirements in order to receive the equivalent replacement. For additional information, please contact the manufacturer or follow up on their website.

The tire promotes excellent all weather traction and road gripping ability. The asymmetric tread design and the optimized all season tire compound work together to ensure safer dry, wet and winter weather traction. The four wide circumferential grooves and the numerous lateral grooves further improve the year round safety by dispersing water and slush from beneath the tire's footprint. The enhanced all weather traction and hydroplaning resistance ensure a more secure driving experience.

The model guarantees a longer lasting tread life. The durable tire compound slows the tread wear rate down significantly. The tread pattern, on the other hand, manages to equally distribute the driving pressure along the tire surface. This ensures even wear across the tread area as the forces of acceleration, cornering and braking are equally spread out on the tire. The extended tread life and tire usability make the tire more cost-efficient.

The Dimax AS-8 offer better controllability in all conditions. The special asymmetric tread pattern maintains constant road contact. This ensures that the tire closely follows the road surface to increase the driving stability and the steering responsiveness. The even distribution of the driving pressure stabilizes the tire during the drive, while the steering becomes quick and precise in its responsiveness to the driver's instructions. The better steering and stability ensure a safer driving experience.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
