OVERVIEW
The Pirelli Scorpion Zero All Season (VOL) is a performance and high performance, all season tire manufactured for SUVs. This model has some touring sizes too. This tire is the original equipment tire model of select Volvo vehicles.
The tire has exceptional all weather traction. The asymmetric tread pattern features a high density siping detail that promotes firm grip in all weather. The ribs and tread blocks of the inner side of the tire provide additional biting edges for winter weather traction with their advanced siping design. The four special circumferential grooves, three wider and one narrower, excellently prevent hydroplaning situations by eliminating water from beneath the tire footprint. The siping design and water evacuating ability ensure a safer year round driving experience.
The model is easily controlled in all weather. The great road gripping ability is improved with the constant road contact and this enhances the steering responsiveness, driving stability and cornering ability. The shoulder tread block design offers additional biting edges for an increased cornering and maneuvering power. The steering becomes quicker and more precise and the tire is stabilized against the driving pressure with the continuous center rib's great road contact. These aspects improve the tire's controllability and handling significantly.
