OVERVIEW

The Pirelli P Zero Winter (*) is a performance and high performance, winter tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs. This model is the original equipment of select BMW vehicles.

The model offers excellent performance in winter-weather conditions. The optimized tread elements firmly grip the road with extra biting edges and maintain forward motion on ice- and snow-covered surfaces. At the same time, the compound manages to keep the rubber pliable in freezing temperatures. These elements enable the tire's perfect performance in harsh winter weather. Also, the optimized grooves effectively resist hydroplaning on wet roads.

The ideal tread design and the rubber compound improve the tire's performance. These elements closely follow the road, which increases steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the tire's steering response time and accuracy to the driver's commands is faster, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting it. On the other hand, the wide shoulder blocks and the special siping details boost cornering and braking. These elements ensure a safe driving experience, while the driver has full control over the vehicle.

The Pirelli P Zero Winter (*) provides a quiet and comfortable driving experience. The ideal tread design and the special silica compound lower road and tread noise heard in the vehicle's cabin. The optimized tread pattern manages to negate sound waves while the tires are in motion. This pattern cancels out road noise heard by the passengers, preventing road disturbances from ruining the passengers' driving enjoyment. The result is a quiet driving experience.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
