Pirelli P Zero Trofeo RS

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

• Summer weather traction
• High speed performance
• Improved controllability

OVERVIEW

The Pirelli P Zero Trofeo RS is a high performance, summer tire made for racing cars.

Consistent surface contact increases its controllability. The asymmetric tread design’s optimized surface contact upgrades steering responsiveness and driving stability. The better road contact maintains surface contact during the drive, which increases the steering response time and accuracy to the driver’s commands. On the other hand, it also improves the structural stability throughout the drive. The ideal shoulder block placement provides additional biting edges, which improves the cornering and maneuvering capability. These elements ensure a safe driving experience.

Exceptional summer traction is promoted with this tire model. The optimized tread elements firmly grip the road surface, with better surface contact, while the summer compound prevents heat build-up in warmer temperatures. These elements upgrade the tire’s dry and wet traction. On the other hand, the special grooves help the tire prevent hydroplaning. They eliminate water from the footprint and maintain surface contact.

This Pirelli P Zero Trofeo RS offers exceptional driving durability. The heat-resistant compound elements work together with the reinforced internal structure to boost its performance. Stronger compound elements prevent heat build-up across the tread area, while the structure does not deform under high speed pressure. As a result, the tire can safely perform during its high speed applications.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
