Pirelli Cinturato Winter 2

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

• Winter weather traction
• Improved controllability
• Comfortable driving experience

OVERVIEW

The Pirelli Cinturato Winter 2 is a touring, winter tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs.

The optimal tread design and the winter compound improve winter-weather traction. These elements work together to boost performance in dry conditions and on ice- and snow-covered roads. In other words, this tread pattern maintains consistent road contact, while the special compound keeps the rubber flexible in freezing winter temperatures. At the same time, wide grooves eliminate water and slush from the footprint, resisting hydroplaning.

The model boosts controllability. The asymmetric tread pattern and its close road contact enhance steering responsiveness and driving stability. This means that the steering response time is faster and more precise to the driver's commands, while the structure is protected against driving pressure. The model can increase cornering and maneuvering as well, thanks to the large shoulder blocks and their optimized grip. These elements upgrade the cornering and braking abilities, which makes this model an excellent choice for winter-weather performance.

The Pirelli Cinturato Winter 2 is a quiet tire. The ideal tread design improves driving comfort levels significantly. This asymmetric tread design allows the tire to prevent sound waves from reaching the vehicle's cabin. The tread allows the tire to generate a sound-canceling frequency as a result. These elements guarantee an enjoyable driving experience.

This specific tire is marked with VW as it is the original equipment of Volkswagen vehicles.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
