OVERVIEW
The Petlas UN-7 is an all season tire made for tractors.
The model provides excellent performance on different terrain surfaces. The ribbed tread pattern manages to firmly grip the surface and keep forward motion at all times. These elements upgrade the tire's performance on soft, loose, and uneven surfaces. At the same time, the optimal tread elements keep the footprint clean by dispersing mud, snow, and rocks stuck between the tread elements. This clean footprint increases the tire's contact with the driving surface, for a safer driving experience.
The ribbed tread pattern closely follows the road and terrain surface, which improves steering responsiveness and driving stability. The rounded shoulder improves the tire's cornering and maneuvering. These elements help the tire to become faster and more precise to the driver's instructions, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. These elements give the driver full control over the vehicle.
The reinforced internal structure and the special silica compound keep the ideal tire shape under load and driving pressure. It enables the tire to carry and withstand heavy loads. The Petlas UN-7 lengthens its service life. The ribbed tread design and the wear-resistant compound work together to prevent irregular and premature wear formations. In other words, the ribbed tread design evenly distributes driving pressure along the tread area, while the rubber compound slows the treadwear rate down. This reduced and even wear guarantees a longer-lasting tread life.
This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.
There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.
The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
