OTR Grassmaster XT
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- Enhanced controllability
- Turf-friendly performance
- Various terrain traction
OVERVIEW
The OTR Grassmaster XT is an all season tire made for lawn mowers and garden tractors.
Excellent various terrain traction is offered with this tire. The optimized tread pattern and its high void ratio optimize forward motion on soft, loose, and uneven terrains. This combination guarantees a safer forward motion on different surfaces, while also ensuring the necessary traction for on-road driving safety. The tread elements maintain a clean footprint by eliminating mud, snow, and rocks struck between the tread elements, preventing them from blocking the surface contact. It also avoids stone retention from harming the casing as they cannot drill into the tread area.
The model provides great all season traction. The tire’s grip on dry, wet, and winter roads is boosted with better traction. The wide grooves prevent hydroplaning, by dispersing water and slush from below the footprint. The tread design is able to grip the driving surface firmly, while the all season compound maintains rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures. These elements improve the year-round traction.
The OTR Grassmaster XT is a turf-friendly tire. The wide footprint, with the optimized tread elements, improves soft traction and enables the tire’s turf-friendly driving ability. This prevents the tire from harming the turf and grass field, making it perfect for garden equipment applications.
This is a bias ply tire. Due to the tire's internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller bias ply tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire's non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated. This is not constructional damage or an issue; it is a normal occurrence with such tires. In such cases, the tire needs to be mounted and inflated to the proper PSI or, in some instances, an inner tube needs to be added. The proper PSI and the inner tube are able to maintain the tire's ideal shape, preventing the bias plies from looking deformed. This ensures their performing safety and durability.
The photo is a representation of the tire's possible deformation, it does not represent the specific tire model, size, tread pattern and application.

This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
