Otani OH-117

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

• All weather traction
• Upgraded load durability
• Improved contollability
• Longer lasting tread life

OVERVIEW

The Otani OH-117 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model was made for all axle positions of the vehicle.

The all season traction is guaranteed with this model. The ideal tread design and the year-round compound work together to enhance the all weather performance. The ideal tread design firmly grips the road surface, while the all season compound protects the tire in different temperatures. The tire has four wide circumferential grooves, which prevent hydroplaning. The grooves disperse water and slush from below the footprint, which boosts the tire's wet and winter weather safety.

The model provides a longer-lasting tread life. The ideal tread design and the durable rubber compound reduce the possibility of uneven wear. The tread design closely follows the road surface, which evenly distributes driving pressure along the tread. The durable rubber compound slows the tread wear rate down. These two elements prevent irregular and premature wear formations along the tread area. Also, the durable rubber compound protects the tire from punctures and cuts during the performance. This helps to improve the tire's service life and usability.

The tire promotes excellent controllability. The tread design maintains constant road contact, which increases the steering response time and accuracy to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against driving and load pressure. The consistent road contact and the shoulder design also work together to boost the cornering and maneuvering capability. These tread elements and the rubber compound guarantee a secure driving experience.

The Otani OH-117 enhances the load carrying and withstanding ability. The strong construction and the durable rubber compound keep the ideal tire shape under load and driving pressure, which improves the tire's overall performance. The model is able to enhance its heavy load durability, which boosts the overall load capacity.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
