OVERVIEW

The Otani KN1000 is a performance and high performance, all season tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs. This model is EV-Specific, meaning these tires are purpose-built tires engineered exclusively for electric vehicles.

Better dry, wet, and winter grip is guaranteed with this model. The dry, wet, and winter grip is boosted due to the detailed tread design and the strong all season compound. The siping and optimal block pattern boosts the grip with the use of additional biting edges. Additionally, the compound maintains the rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures. These factors enhance the tire’s summer and winter weather performance. The groove placement avoids hydroplaning, by dispersing water and slush from the footprint during the tire’s performance.

Great handling is guaranteed, even at high speeds. The asymmetric tread’s center ribs increase steering responsiveness and driving stability by improving road contact. The steering, in this manner, becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver’s commands. The structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting it. The tread design’s siping detail upgrades the braking capability. These sipes create friction between the road and the tire at the moment of braking, which decreases the model’s braking distance.

The Otani KN1000 provides excellent high speed durability. The special heat-resistant compound elements and the better structural stability allow the tire to enhance its high speed capability. The reinforced compound elements prevent heat build-up along the tread area, minimizing the pressure affecting the tire. The structure does not allow the tire to deform under driving pressure. This greatly enhances the high speed driving experience.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
