Nitto NT555RII

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

• Summer weather performance
• Enhanced controllability
• High speed performance

OVERVIEW

The Nitto NT555RII is a high performance, summer tire made for racing vehicles.

The tire offers great summer weather performance. The directional tread pattern follows the road surface with extra biting edges, while the summer compound prevents heat build-up along the tread area in warmer temperatures. As a result, this tread design and summer compound work together to boost dry and wet weather performance. Wide grooves also offer great performance in wet situations, as they resist hydroplaning by dispersing water from the footprint.

The model also promotes great controllability. The optimal tread pattern maintains close surface contact during the performance. It offers great steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the steering response time is faster and more precise to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. Wide shoulder blocks firmly grip the road surface and increase cornering capability. Braking distance is also shortened by creating friction during stopping. These elements enable the driver to have full control over the vehicle.

The Nitto NT555RII also upgrades driving durability. The strong internal structure protects the tire from losing its optimal shape. As the tire does not deform under driving pressure, it can safely perform even at high speeds. At the same time, the heat-resistant compound prevents heat build-up along the tread area throughout the high speed performance. This tire offers an excellent high speed driving experience while the driver has full control over the vehicle. These elements make this model perfect for racing vehicles.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
