OVERVIEW

The Nitto Nomad Grappler is a rugged terrain, all weathertire made for SUVs. Nitto offered a 60,000 miles treadwear warranty with this model.

The ideal tread design and the strong internal structure enables the tire to perform on rugged terrain surfaces easily. The aggressive tread design, with the optimal elements, upgrade soft, loose, and uneven terrain traction. This tread enables the tire to greatly enhance its application on different terrains, boosting on- and off-road performance. The tread increases its self-cleaning ability. It eliminates mud, snow, and rocks struck between the tread elements, preventing them from blocking surface contact.

The model offers great controllability, thanks to the aggressive tread design and consistent surface contact. In this manner, the optimal tread design keeps close surface contact and increases steering responsiveness and driving stability. The steering response time is faster and more precise to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. Large staggered blocks firmly grip the road and terrain surface with extra biting edges. This increases cornering and maneuvering throughout the performance. These elements enable the driver to have full control over the vehicle.

Excellent all weather performance is promoted with this tread design and all weathercompound. The optimal tread design can closely follow the surface in all conditions, while the compound keeps the rubber flexible in changing temperatures. As a result, this tread design and all weathercompound boost the performance in dry, wet, and winter weather conditions. Wide grooves eliminate water and slush from the footprint and prevent hydroplaning.

The Nitto Nomad Grappler also promotes a longer-lasting tread life. This optimal tread pattern can evenly distribute driving pressure along the tread area. At the same time, the compound blend significantly decreases the treadwear rate by using wear-resistant elements. This slow and even wear guarantees the tire's excellent service life and usability.

All weather tires receive the three mountain peak and snowflake (3PMS) symbol for their exceptional winter weather performance. They are all season tires with extra winter weather grip, in order to guarantee safer year-round durability. This ensures their true and secure driving ability throughout the year.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
