OVERVIEW

The Nexen Roadian GTX (JP) is a touring, all season tire manufactured for SUVs. It has some high performance sizes as well. This specific tire is marked with JP as it is the original equipment of Jeep vehicles.

The all season traction is improved with the tread design and the durable compound. The tread design with the zigzag sipe and groove placement and the all season compound work together to improve the dry, wet, and winter traction. These tread elements enable the tire to increase the grip on the road surface with extra biting edges. The tread also optimizes the rubber flexibility at all times, boosting the warm and cold temperature performance. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning since they disperse water and slush from the footprint. This guarantees a safer performance.

High driving comfort levels are guaranteed. The ribbed tread design and the sipe pattern improve the passengers' driving enjoyment. The close road contact of the footprint allows the tire to greatly decrease the road vibrations felt by the passengers. The tread design's zigzag sipe pattern allows the tire to greatly reduce the road noise generated during the drive. In this manner, road disturbances do not reach the vehicle's cabin, promoting a quiet and comfortable driving experience.

The optimal tread design improves the surface contact. The tread design's ribbed tread design with the shoulder block placement, and the sipe and lateral groove placement, greatly upgrade the handling and maneuvering. The ribbed pattern maintains the road contact, which improves the steering responsiveness and driving stability. As a result, the tire upgrades the steering response time and accuracy to the driver's commands, while it also secures the structural stability during the performance. The shoulder block placement, with the ideal groove and sipe pattern, the tire upgrades the cornering ability and power. These tread elements also allow the tire to generate friction at the moment of braking, shortening the braking distance. This combination enables the tire to increase the driver's control over the vehicle.

The Roadian GTX (JP) increases the length of the usability. The ribbed tread design and the stronger compound elements allow the tire to decrease the road noise levels. The tread design ensures even pressure circulation avoids irregular wear formations across the tread area. The compound keeps the rubber flexibility, minimizing the overall treadwear rate. The slow and even wear greatly boosts the model's tread life length.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
