OVERVIEW

The National Commando HTS is a highway terrain, all season tire made for light trucks and SUVs. It has some touring, passenger sizes and high performance sizes available. National offers 65,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.

Excellent all weather traction is promoted with this tread design and all season compound. These elements work together to improve dry, wet, and winter weather traction. The asymmetric tread design firmly grips the road surface with the use of extra biting edges, which maintains consistent road contact. On the other hand, the all season compound keeps the rubber flexible in summer and winter temperatures, which guarantees the tire's safe performance throughout the year. At the same time, wide circumferential grooves protect the tire against hydroplaning. These grooves disperse water and slush from below the footprint, promoting safe wet weather traction.

The tread design offers great controllability. The asymmetric tread design keeps consistent road contact and enhances steering responsiveness and driving stability. As a result, the steering response becomes faster and more precise to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. Wide shoulder blocks and the optimal siping detail improve cornering and maneuvering. At the same time, the stronger internal structure maintains the optimal tire shape under load and driving pressure, guaranteeing a secure performance.

The model promotes longer-lasting tread life. This tread design evenly distributes driving pressure along the tread area, while the compound reduces the treadwear rate. As a result, the tread design prevents irregular wear, while the compound slows premature wear formations. This combination significantly boosts the tire's service life and usability.

The National Commando HTS guarantees a quiet and comfortable driving experience, thanks to the tread design and close road contact. These tread elements are able to greatly lower road noise and vibrations while tires are in motion. The tread is able to maintain consistent road contact and absorb the shock of driving, while the siping detail and tread elements negate noise generated. In this manner, the tires allow the passengers' an enjoyable drive.

Not all tire sizes are suitable for all vehicle types. Please refer to the item specifications for accurate information about vehicle type fitment for this particular size.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
