Milestar Winterguard

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

• Winter weather traction
• Enhanced controllability
• Comfortable performance

OVERVIEW

The Milestar Winterguard is a touring, winter tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs.

The symmetric, directional tread design maintains surface contact for better controllability. The model’s symmetric tread elements maintain surface contact. This allows the tire to improve its steering responsiveness and driving stability, ensuring the driver’s better control over the vehicle. Faster and more precise steering responses are guaranteed, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. Additionally, its cornering and braking abilities are effectively increased. This is achieved with the shoulder block’s siping placement and the tread’s friction generated when braking.

The tire offers excellent winter-weather traction. The detailed tread design, with the optimized elements, increases the grip in winter conditions, even when performing on ice- and snow-covered surfaces. The tread area is studded, with innovative studs, which boost winter grip. Strong rubber materials keep the tire pliable, optimizing its application in harsh winter situations. The optimized grooves disperse water and slush from the footprint to avoiding hydroplaning.

The Milestar Winterguard provides a quiet and comfortable driving experience. The optimal block pattern does not allow airwaves to enter the footprint while the tires are in motion. In this manner, sound waves are not generated and they cannot diminish the passenger’s driving enjoyment. The model promotes a comfortable driving experience.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
