OVERVIEW

The Michelin Primacy Tour A/S (POL) is a touring all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. This model also comes in some high performance sizes. This specific tire is marked with TO as it is the original equipment of Toyota vehicles. This model is EV-Ready, meaning these tires are compatible with both electric and traditional vehicles.

The tire promotes excellent controllability. The tread design's optimized footprint maintains the tire's road contact at all times, which upgrades the steering responsiveness and driving stability. The steering becomes faster and more precise in its responsiveness to the driver's commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. The better control over the tires enables the driver to confidently steer the vehicle in all weather conditions.

The model ensures a comfortable performance. The optimal tread design closely follows the road surface, which absorbs the shock of driving. In this manner, the tire decreases the road vibrations felt in the vehicle's cabin. The tread's pitch variation lowers the road noise levels. The pitch variation negates the road noise generated during the drive with a sound frequency. The reduced road vibrations and road noise levels guarantee an enjoyable and quiet driving experience.

The model's all season compound and the asymmetric tread design work together to boost the dry, wet and winter weather traction. The tire compound maintains its flexibility even in colder winter temperatures, while the asymmetric tread design with the high-density siping detail firmly grips the road surface throughout the year. The wide circumferential grooves actively resist hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint. As a result, the tire provides a secure year round performance.

The Primacy Tour A/S (POL) offers a longer lasting tread life. The optimal footprint of the asymmetric tread design evenly distributes the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking lengthens the tread life and the tire's usability by preventing irregular tread wear formations on the tire's surface, making the model more cost efficient.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
