OVERVIEW

The Michelin Agilis CrossClimate 2 is a highway terrain, all weather tire made for commercial vans and light trucks.

True year-round traction is ensured with the stronger compound and detailed tread design. The durable compound blend and the stable block placement work together in order to increase its dry, wet, and winter performance. These elements allow the tire to improve its rubber flexibility throughout the year, including in severe winter conditions. On the other hand, the tread firmly grips the road with extra biting edges, improving its performance. Hydroplaning is prevented with the optimized grooves that disperse water and slush from below the footprint.

The model’s controllability is ensured at all times. The special tread design increases the tire’s consistent surface contact. As a result, it boosts steering responsiveness and driving stability. This offers quick and precise steering responses, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. The shoulder blocks improve cornering with additional biting edges. On the other hand, the tread elements generate friction that helps shorten the tire’s overall braking distance.

The model boosts its service life and usability. The special silica compound is wear-resistant. In other words, it slows the tread wear rate down significantly. Other than this, the tire also evenly distributes the driving pressure across the tread area, which prevents irregular wear patterns from forming across the tread. The longevity of the even tread ensures an extended tire life and usability.

The Michelin Agilis CrossClimate 2's robust structure and rubber compound increase its heavy-duty performance. The strengthened and flexible carcass structure enables the tire to significantly increase its larger load capacity. Since the construction does not deform under load and driving pressure, the model is able to effectively enhance its heavy-duty applications. This enables the tire’s exceptional performance under large loads.

All weather tires receive the three mountain peak and snowflake (3PMS) symbol for their exceptional winter weather performance. Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
