OVERVIEW

The Matrax Camarga is a performance and high performance, summer tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs.

The asymmetric tread design and the summer compound offer excellent summer weather traction. In this manner, the ideal tread design maintains close surface contact at all times, while the special silica compound prevents heat build-up along the tread area in warm temperatures. These elements guarantee the tire's perfect performance in dry and wet weather conditions. At the same time, the optimized grooves on the tread area effectively resist hydroplaning, by dispersing water from the footprint.

The model maintains close road contact, which improves the tire's controllability. These elements enhance the tire's steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the tire's steering response time is faster and more precise to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. On the other hand, the wide shoulder blocks boost the tire's cornering and maneuvering. These elements enable the driver to have full control over the vehicle during the performance.

Great high speed performance is offered with this tire. The reinforced internal structure and the special silica compound work together to upgrade the tire's driving durability and handling. The strengthened internal structure keeps the ideal tire shape under the driving pressure affecting it, while the special silica compound prevents pressure accumulation along the tread area during the performance. These elements enable the tire's exceptional high speed performing ability.

The Matrax Camarga boosts its driving comfort levels. The asymmetric tread design and its close road contact lower road and tread noise levels heard in the vehicle's cabin. This footprint channels airwaves away, preventing them from coming into contact with the tread elements and generating noise. Also, the special silica compound absorbs the shock of driving and minimizes the vibrations felt in the vehicle's cabin. As a result, these elements ensure the passenger's enjoyable driving experience.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
