Linglong D955

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

• All weather traction
• Upgraded durability
• Longer lasting tread life

OVERVIEW

The Linglong D955 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle's drive axle.

The tire promotes great all weather traction. The detailed tread pattern features larger center tread blocks and closed shoulder tread block placement. These tread elements increase the grip on the dry, wet and winter weather road surface to improve the year round driving safety. They enhance the number of biting edges gripping the road surface, boosting the model's performing ability. The wide groove pattern avoids hydroplaning. These grooves disperse water and slush from below the footprint and resist hydroplaning to offer a secure wet and winter drive.

The tread design and durable compound help lengthen the usability. The stronger compound features wear-resistant rubber materials which decrease the tread wear rate significantly. The stabilized tread elements actively avoid tread flexing while the tires are in motion. This resists unnecessary friction being created between the tire and the road surface, while allowing the tire's even pressure distribution. As a result, the model prevents accelerated and irregular wear along the tread area, extending the usability and tread life.

The D955 upgrades the durability. The strengthened steel belt structure maintains the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure affecting the model. This guarantees the model's heavy-duty load capacity as it securely carries and withstands the weight of the load affecting the model. The stronger structure also protects the tire against damage. It resists punctures, cuts and other damage from harming the casing and shortening the model's service life.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
