OVERVIEW
The Landspider Rovertraxx X/T is an extreme terrain, all season tire made for SUVs. Landspider offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.
Exceptional off-road performance is provided thanks to the tread design. The tread design features large, staggered tread blocks, wide grooves, and open shoulder patterns that work together to increase the tire’s traction on soft, loose, and uneven terrains. The tread’s maintained terrain contact and high number of biting edges increase the grip throughout the tire’s performance. The special sidewall design improves the tire’s grip in deeper mud and loose dirt, ensuring its forward motion, without allowing the tire to be stuck on such terrains. The staggered tread blocks and the high void ratio also eliminate mud and snow stuck between the tread elements. This maintains the tire’s clean footprint at all times and it enables the tire’s performance both on- and off-road.
The ideal tread design also increases the overall controllability. The tire is able to effectively maintain surface contact at all times. The aggressive tread design maintains surface contact throughout the drive, boosting steering responsiveness and driving stability. As a result, it manages to improve its steering responses and accuracy to the driver’s commands. It also enhances the tire's overall structural stability against the driving pressure. The shoulder block placement firmly grips the surface with extra biting edges, upgrading its maneuvering.
Damage resistance is ensured with the tread design and the internal structure. This is ensured with the durable compound and the ideal structure. Their combination helps to increase the tire’s overall usability. They prevent punctures, impact damage, and cuts to the structure, while various tread damage is effectively prevented. As a result, it increases the tire’s overall service life.
The Landspider Rovertraxx X/T provides great all season traction. The optimized tread design keeps the surface contact in versatile weather conditions, while the all season compound maintains flexibility in warm and cold temperatures. They increase dry, wet, and winter-weather traction. On the other hand, wide grooves prevent on-road hydroplaning. They eliminate water and slush from the footprint, in order to protect the tire against slipping in wet situations.
Extreme Terrain tire types are not designed for regular highway driving. They are primarily designed for off-road applications.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
