OVERVIEW
The Kenda K507 is an all season tire made for lawn mowers and garden tractors.
The model promotes great performance on various terrain surfaces. The wide footprint and the optimal tread design increase the tire's performance on grass and turf surfaces. These elements maintain constant surface contact, which improves steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the steering response time is quicker and more precise to the driver's instructions, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. On the other hand, the rounded shoulders help the tire have better cornering and maneuvering. As a result, this combination guarantees a safe driving experience.
The optimized tread elements and the all season compound upgrade the tire's year-round traction. In this manner, the wide footprint manages to closely follow the surface at all times, while the all season compound keeps the rubber flexible in changing temperatures. This increases the tire's performance in dry, wet, and winter conditions, ensuring a safe driving experience throughout the year.
This tire lengthens its service life. The ideal tread design evenly distributes driving pressure along the tread area, while the special silica compound slows the treadwear rate down. These elements prevent irregular and premature wear formations. In other words, this decreased and even wear leads to a longer-lasting tread life.
The Kenda K507 is a turf-friendly model. The ideal tread pattern and its soft traction do not harm grass and turf surfaces during the performance. The tread's soft traction allows the tire to safely perform on turf and grass fields without harming its quality. This turf-friendly performance makes this model perfect for lawn mowers and other garden tractor equipment.
This is a bias ply tire. Due to the tire's internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller bias ply tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire's non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated. This is not constructional damage or an issue; it is a normal occurrence with such tires. In such cases, the tire needs to be mounted and inflated to the proper PSI or, in some instances, an inner tube needs to be added. The proper PSI and the inner tube are able to maintain the tire's ideal shape, preventing the bias plies from looking deformed. This ensures their performing safety and durability.
The photo is a representation of the tire's possible deformation, it does not represent the specific tire model, size, tread pattern and application.
This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
