OVERVIEW

The Kanati Terra Commander RTX is a rugged terrain, all season tire manufactured for light trucks.

The tire promotes exceptional year round traction. The stabilized tread design with the siping placement and the all season compound enhance the dry, wet, and winter weather grip. The tread elements firmly grip the road surface with extra biting edges, while the compound keeps the rubber flexibility in summer and winter conditions. The groove placement and open shoulder detail disperse water and slush from below the footprint during the tire's on-road performance. This effectively avoids hydroplaning, further enhancing the wet weather grip.

The tread design also utilizes the aggressive tread design in order to boost the on- and off-road terrain performance. The staggered block pattern, open shoulder block pattern, and groove tread design upgrades the grip on the versatile terrain surface with extra biting edges, ensuring the soft, loose and uneven terrain grip. The tread elements optimize the forward motion at all times, upgrading the deep mud and loose dirt performance. The tread design also enables the tire to keep the footprint clean. These tread elements eliminate mud and snow, while the stone ejectors prevent stone retention. This optimizes the surface contact, while avoiding damage to the casing.

The Terra Commander RTX also enhances the heavy-duty controllability. The tread design's stability ensures the surface contact, which improves the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. On the other hand, the stronger internal structure keeps the ideal shape under the load pressure. The better load capacity and the optimal controllability guarantee a secure performing ability, boosting the overall driving safety levels.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
