OVERVIEW
The K9 Smooth is an all season tire manufactured for lawn mowers and garden tractors.
The model offers great performance on grass and field surfaces. The smooth tread pattern manages to keep forward motion even on soft, loose, and uneven terrains. The tread pattern increases the number of biting edges and boosts its performance on various terrain surfaces. These elements make this model perfect for turf terrains. On the other hand, this tread pattern and its soft traction do not harm the grass and turf surface, ensuring a turf-friendly performance.
The smooth tread design and the durable rubber compound closely follow the terrain surface and improve its controllability. As the tire maintains constant contact with the driving surface, it enhances steering responsiveness and driving stability. The steering response time is quicker and more precise to the driver's instructions, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. At the same time, the rounded shoulders upgrade cornering and maneuvering.
The K9 Smooth lengthens its service life. The smooth tread pattern evenly distributes the driving pressure along the tread area, while the special silica compound slows the treadwear rate down. These elements reduce the chance of irregular and premature wear formations along the tread area. As a result, this decreased and even wear guarantees the tire's longer-lasting tread life.
This is a bias ply tire. Due to the tire's internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller bias ply tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire's non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated. This is not constructional damage or an issue; it is a normal occurrence with such tires. In such cases, the tire needs to be mounted and inflated to the proper PSI or, in some instances, an inner tube needs to be added. The proper PSI and the inner tube are able to maintain the tire's ideal shape, preventing the bias plies from looking deformed. This ensures their performing safety and durability.
