Hercules Avalanche RT

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

• Winter weather traction
• Enhanced controllability
• High driving comfort levels

OVERVIEW

The Hercules Avalanche RT is a touring, winter tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs.

The tire offers great winter traction with the durable compound and the detailed tread design. The optimal winter compound keeps the tire pliable in freezing temperatures, ensuring its rubber flexibility in colder weather. The tire features a ribbed block placement with the Exclusive Snow Grip Technology, the thin-gauge sipes, and the sawtooth-shaped snow-grabber grooves provide biting edges to grip the road. Circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint, further boosting wet traction.

The tire provides great controllability as well. The ribbed block placement maintains road contact and upgrades its steering responsiveness and driving stability. Quick and precise steering responses are guaranteed, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. The tread elements along the shoulder area provide biting edges, improving the tire's cornering ability. The sipe and groove pattern creates friction, significantly shortening the tire's braking distance. Their combination allows the tire to enhance its handling and maneuvering.

The Hercules Avalanche RT improves its road contact, offering high driving comfort levels. The tread elements closely follow the road surface at all times. As a result, the tire absorbs the shock of driving, decreasing road vibrations felt by the passengers. This promotes a comfortable driving experience.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
