OVERVIEW

The Hankook Ventus S1 AS is a high performance, all season tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Hankook offers a 50,000 mile tread warranty.

The tire promotes all weather traction. The all season compound and the asymmetric tread design work together to ensure a safe driving experience throughout the year. The flat footprint and the special design pattern maintain road contact, which upgrades the dry, wet, and winter weather road gripping ability. The wide lateral grooves enhance the grip in snow as well. The flexible biting edges effectively grip the snow and create additional traction. The wide circumferential grooves and the lateral sipes ensure a safer driving experience with an enhanced aquaplaning resistance in wet weather conditions.

The model upgrades its driving safety with the increased braking and cornering ability. The ProMileage technology maximizes road contact, which improves the maneuvering capability. The special tread design shortens the braking distance by boosting creating friction when stopping. The wide shoulder blocks and the lateral stiffness work together to boost the cornering and maneuvering power and capability. This ensures that the tire grips the road surface perfectly , offering a safer performance.

The Ventus S1 AS promotes a safe high speed performance. The tire is easily handled even during its high speed performance. The special tire compound and the asymmetric tread design enable the tire's high speed driving capability. The ProMileage technology maintains constant road contact. This increases steering responsiveness and driving stability. Thanks to this design, the tire becomes quicker and precise in its repetition of the driver's commands. The shoulder blocks and the lateral stiffness helps to improve the stability during high speeds. Thanks to this tire design, the driver can confidently control the vehicle.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
