OVERVIEW

The Hankook Kinergy XP is a touring, all season tire created for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Hankook offers a 75,000 mile treadwear warranty with this tire.

The symmetric tread design and the flat footprint maintain surface contact while the tires are in motion. The tire greatly improves steering responsiveness and driving stability, boosting overall controllability. The tire ensures a quick and precise steering response, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. The shoulder block placement, with the 3D and chamfer sipe placement, enhances cornering and maneuvering as well. This combination significantly improves the driver's control over the vehicle, promoting a safer driving experience.

The tire offers great all season traction, optimizing its year-round performance. The ideal tread design and the all season tire compound work together to boost dry, wet, and light winter road grip. The compound's silica and performance resin keep the tire's flexible traction even in colder temperatures, while the detailed tread design finds a firm road grip. Wide circumferential and numerous lateral grooves prevent hydroplaning, by eliminating water and slush from below the tire's footprint. In this manner, the model ensures a safe year-round driving experience.

Great usability is ensured with the tread design and durable compound. The exceptional compound blend and the tread's even pressure circulation work together to make this happen. They avoid premature and uneven wear as a result. In other words, they resist premature wear by utilizing biting edges, while the tread avoids irregular wear as well. These elements significantly boost the tire's service life. This is further upgraded with the use of the Convex Tread Radius technology, which optimizes pressure circulation and contact patch.

The Hankook Kinergy XP provides a quiet and comfortable driving experience. These great comfort levels are ensured with the tread design. The knurling technology works with the expanding shoulder lugs to minimize road noise levels. Moreover, the pitch sequence helps too, since it creates a sound frequency that mitigates road noise. This promotes a quiet performance, as road disturbances do not ruin the passengers' driving enjoyment.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
