The GT Radial Champiro SX2 is a high performance summer tire manufactured for racing cars. This drift tire is designed to enable optimal drifting ability.

The model ensured first-rate summer weather traction. The special silica-based tire compound and the asymmetric tread design work together to increase the dry and wet weather road grip. The compound keeps its rubber flexibility under the high-heat pressure of the summer months, while the optimized tread design with the wide ribs and notch placement improves the tire's grip on the road surface. The wide circumferential grooves avoid hydroplaning. They disperse water and slush from below the tire's footprint and boost the wet weather performance.

The asymmetric tread design's elements upgrade the cornering and braking capability, which ensures a safer driving experience. The dual shoulder tread block design widens the shoulder tread area which enhances the cornering and maneuvering capability. The dual block pattern with the notches heightens the number of biting edges gripping the road surface during cornering, enabling a more powerful maneuvering capability.
