OVERVIEW

The Groundspeed Voyager XT is an extreme terrain, all weather tire made for light trucks and SUVs. Groundspeed offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.

This model provides great all weather traction. The durable compound blend and the stable block placement work together in order to increase its dry, wet, and winter performance. These elements allow the tire to improve its rubber flexibility throughout the year, including in severe winter conditions. On the other hand, the tread firmly grips the road with extra biting edges, improving its performance.

The tire enhances the extreme terrain performance with the aggressive tread design. The staggered blocks and the high void ratio, as well as the detailed upper sidewall pattern, work together to increase driving safety levels. Soft, loose, and uneven terrain grip is offered as a result, since the footprint generates the necessary biting edges. Furthermore, the self-cleaning tread eliminates mud, snow, and rocks stuck between the tread elements. This significantly improves overall driving safety levels.

The aggressive tread design and the durable rubber compound maintain close contact with the driving surface. As a result, these elements boost the tire’s steering responsiveness and driving stability. On the other hand, the wide shoulder blocks enhance cornering and maneuvering. Extreme Terrain tire types are not designed for regular highway driving. They are primarily designed for off-road applications.

They are all season tires with extra winter weather grip, in order to guarantee safer year-round durability. This ensures their true and secure driving ability throughout the year.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
