OVERVIEW
The Goodyear Wrangler Workhorse AT2 is an all terrain, all weather tire made for light trucks and SUVs. Goodyear offers a 55,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.
The model offers excellent controllability, thanks to the ideal tread design and its close contact with the driving surface. The superb tread pattern, with the large tread elements, improves the tire’s contact with the driving surface. They increase the steering response time and accuracy to the driver’s instructions, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. These tread elements increase the number of biting edges and upgrade cornering and maneuvering. As a result, the driver has full control over the vehicle throughout the drive.
Damage resistance and load capacity are upgraded with this tire. The robust structure maintains the ideal tire shape under the load pressure affecting the model. This structure prevents the tire from deforming during the performance. As a result, it enables the tire to carry and withstand heavy loads. On the other hand, the structure also helps prevent external damage. It actively avoids cuts, punctures, and impact damage, which shortens the tire’s service life. These elements ensure a secure off-road drive.
Its aggressive tread design, with the staggered blocks and the high void ratio, offers great all terrain grip. The optimized footprint manages to promote better all terrain traction, upgrading its soft, loose, and uneven terrain grip. This guarantees the tire’s consistent forward motion, even through deep mud and on soft dirt terrains. On the other hand, the self-cleaning tread design effectively eliminates mud, snow, and rocks stuck between the tread elements. Mud and snow do not block the surface contact and stone retention is also avoided in this manner.
The Goodyear Wrangler Workhorse AT2 provides true year-round traction. The all weather compound and the ideal tread design boost the dry, wet, and winter grip on the road. The tread’s siping and notch placement firmly grips the road with extra biting edges, while the compound keeps the rubber flexible in versatile temperatures. The groove pattern helps to prevent on-road hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from the footprint. This significantly upgrades the model’s wet-weather driving safety levels.
All weather tires receive the three mountain peak and snowflake (3PMS) symbol for their exceptional winter weather performance. They are all season tires with extra winter weather grip, in order to guarantee safer year-round durability. This ensures their true and secure driving ability throughout the year.
Not all tire sizes are suitable for all vehicle types. Please refer to the item specifications for accurate information about vehicle type fitment for this particular size.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
