Performance

The Goodyear Ultra Grip Performance GEN-1 is a performance, winter tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. The tire offers excellent winter weather traction with the detailed tread design and winter compound. Hydroplaning is also avoided. Maintaining the surface contact upgrades steering responsiveness and driving stability at all times. Additionally, the tread details firmly grip its cornering and braking power. The model minimizes road noise levels heard in the vehicle's cabin. The Ultra Grip Performance GEN-1 features rim protectors to prevent curb damage.

Features

Quiet Tire

The SoundComfort technology lowers road and tread pattern noise levels heard by the passengers in the vehicle's cabin.

Handling

The stabilized footprint's surface contact significantly increases steering responsiveness and driving stability.

Rim Protector

The sidewall pattern protects the rims from external damage, offering a secure driving experience throughout the performance.

Hydroplaning

The circumferential and angled lateral grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint.

Winter Tire

The directional pattern with the sipe placement and winter compound improves the tire's winter weather, ice, and snow traction.

Maneuvering

The detailed sipe placement and stable shoulder blocks enhance the tire's cornering and braking ability, even on ice and snow.
