FEATURES AND BENEFITS

• Summer weather traction
• Enhanced controllability
• High speed performance

OVERVIEW

The Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperCar 3 is a high performance summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles.

The tire offers great summer weather traction. The model uses its excellent racing-inspired compound and the asymmetric dual-purpose tread design to boost the dry and wet weather traction. The tread's outer area maximizes the road contact and upgrades the dry weather performance, while the inner area's siping detail improves the wet road surface traction. The durable tire compound enhances the traction and prevents heat build-up during the drive. This combination guarantees a safer summer weather performance. The inner tread area's siping detail and circumferential tread grooves actively resist hydroplaning. They channel water and slush from below the tire's footprint and ensure a secure driving experience.

The model is effectively controlled even during its high speed performance. The tire's lightweight internal structure and the tread's constant road contact increases the overall controllability. In other words, the maintained road contact boosts the steering response and the driving stability. The steering becomes faster and more precise in its responsiveness to the driver's instructions, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. The tread's Combination Grip Technology uses the wider outer shoulder pattern to upgrade the cornering capability. The maximized road contact of the outer shoulder heightens the number of biting edges gripping the road surface during maneuvering, ensuring a secure cornering ability and power in the process.

The Eagle F1 SuperCar 3 guarantees first-rate high speed performance. The race-inspired compound actively resists the heat build-up during the drive. This, combined with the lightweight construction, promotes the tire's constant road contact and optimal tire shape. Furthermore, the tread design's larger road contact area keeps the tire's contact with the road surface at all times. As a result, the tire is capable of performing to its best high speed ability throughout its lifetime.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
