OVERVIEW

The General G-MAX AS-07 is a performance and high performance, all season tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs. General offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.

The model offers excellent all season performance. The asymmetric tread design and the all season compound enhance the tire's performance in dry, wet, and winter-weather conditions. In other words, the optimized tread pattern closely follows the road at all times, while the all season compound keeps the rubber flexible in changing temperatures. At the same time, the optimized grooves effectively eliminate water and slush from the footprint. These elements guarantee the tire's safe driving experience at all times.

Great controllability is promoted with this tire. The asymmetric tread design and the stronger compound work together to maintain continuous contact with the road. These elements enhance the tire's steering responsiveness and driving stability. The steering response time is faster and more precise to the driver's instructions, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting it. The wide shoulder blocks boost the tire's cornering and maneuvering during the performance. These elements guarantee the tire's safe driving experience.

Longer-lasting tread life is guaranteed with this tire. The asymmetric tread pattern and the durable rubber compound work together to prevent irregular and premature wear formations. In this manner, the asymmetric tread design evenly distributes driving pressure along the tread area, while the special silica compound slows the treadwear rate down. This reduced and even wear significantly lengthens the tire's service life.

The General G-MAX AS-07 boosts its quiet and comfortable driving experience. The ideal tread design and the special silica compound lower road and tread noise levels heard in the vehicle's cabin. This optimized tread channels airwaves through the footprint, preventing them from coming into contact with the tread elements and generating noise. This combination guarantees high driving comfort levels.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
