Galaxy YM SDS Smooth

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

• Enhanced controllability
• Upgraded load durability
• Extended tread life

OVERVIEW

The Galaxy YM SDS Smooth is an all season tire made for industrial vehicles. This model is designed for forklifts.

The tire improves its load and driving durability. The strengthened structure and the durable compound upgrade the load capacity. The robust structure does not allow the tire to deform under load and driving pressure, while the tread manages to evenly distribute driving pressure along the tread area. This improves the tire's overall load durability, which enhances the tire to securely carry and withstand larger loads. The result is a strong load capacity.

Extended service life is guaranteed with this model. The special silica compound is wear-resistant. In other words, it slows the tread wear rate down significantly. Other than this, the tire also evenly distributes the driving pressure across the tread area, which prevents irregular wear patterns from forming across the tread. The longevity of the even tread ensures an extended tire life and usability.

The Galaxy YM SDS's ideal tread pattern increases surface contact throughout the drive. This allows the tire to effectively upgrade steering responsiveness and driving stability. The footprint’s optimal surface contact helps to enhance steering response and accuracy to the driver’s instructions. Additionally, it also secures structural stability throughout the performance. This combination enables the tire’s better controllability and maneuvering.

This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
