Galaxy Smooth Compactor C-1

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

• Enhanced controllability
• Even pressure distribution
• Durable compound

OVERVIEW

The Galaxy Smooth Compactor C-1 is an all season tire manufactured for industrial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on road compactors.

The tire features a smooth flat footprint that maintains its surface contact at all times. This enhances the driver's control over the vehicle as it improves the steering responsiveness. The optimal surface contact allows the tire to increase the steering response time and accuracy to the driver's commands. In this manner, the tire ensures a driver's full control of the vehicle throughout its performance.

The tread design also increases the model's pressure distribution. The smooth wide footprint provides a constant and even surface contact at all times. The equally spread out driving forces enable the tire's road compactor application, as they optimize the vehicle's performance. The even pressure circulation also enables the tire to ensure even wear along the tread area, lengthening the usability and tread life.

The Smooth Compactor C-1 enhances the durability. The special tire compound helps prevent damage caused by the oily chemicals used for road compaction. The compound resists such chemicals from harming the tread area and guarantees a safer driving experience.

This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
