OVERVIEW
The Firestone Transforce AT (OE) is an all terrain, all season tire made for light trucks. This is an OE as it is the original equipment of select vehicles.
Better dry, wet, and winter grip is guaranteed with this model. The ideal tread design, with the detailed siping pattern, and the all season compound work together to upgrade the dry, wet, and winter-weather performance. The durable compound elements and the detailed siping placement increase the tire’s surface traction to ensure a safe year-round drive. The compound elements optimize the rubber’s flexibility throughout the year, in various temperatures. The tread design’s siping placement increases the number of biting edges that grip the road, which boosts the surface traction. The tread’s ideal groove placement avoids hydroplaning in wet-weather situations.
The model increases load durability and damage resistance. This is achieved with the tread design, the compound blend, and the stronger structure. These elements allow the tire to increase its overall load capacity, as they maintain the optimal tire shape under heavy loads. Tread and casing damage are also avoided. Stone retention is resisted with the rock-ejecting tread elements. The casing and the compound also boost the tire’s ability to combat punctures, cuts, and impact damage, as well as the tread’s chipping, cracking, and tearing.
The aggressive tread design also increases the all terrain traction. The ideal tread design and the optimal compound blend manage to easily perform on soft, loose, and uneven terrains. The optimized tread elements manage to grip the surface with extra biting edges. As a result, these elements enable the tire to keep forward motion at all times. The model also maintains a clean footprint, by eliminating mud, snow, and rocks stuck between the tread elements, for better surface contact.
This tire offers a longer-lasting tread life. The ideal tread pattern and the wear-resistant compound prevent irregular and premature wear formations. In this manner, the optimized tread pattern evenly distributes driving pressure along the tread area, while the special silica compound slows down the treadwear rate. This decreased and even wear leads to a longer-lasting tread life.
The Firestone Transforce AT (OE) guarantees a comfortable on-road drive. The tread design’s variable block placement generates a special sound frequency that negates sound waves. In this manner, the tire is able to significantly boost the tire’s comfort levels. Lowering road noise levels during the on-road performance manages to ensure a quiet driving experience.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
