OVERVIEW
The Firestone Regency IND Traction Utility Plus is an all season tire made for industrial vehicles.
The model enhances its versatile terrain traction, while also optimizing the on-road performance. The ideal tread design enables the tire to improve traction on soft, loose, and uneven terrains. The optimized tread elements allow the tire to significantly upgrade forward motion on various terrain surfaces. The high void ratio keeps the footprint clean by dispersing mud and snow from the footprint, preventing them from blocking the surface contact. This also prevents stone retention from harming the casing, promoting better driving safety levels.
Year-round traction and hydroplaning resistance are offered with this model. Durable rubber materials keep the tire pliable in changing temperatures, by using weather-resistant rubber. On the other hand, the ideal tread pattern generates biting edges that firmly grip the road surface with extra biting edges. Hydroplaning is avoided thanks to the groove pattern. These grooves prevent water and slush from cutting off the tire's road contact in wet conditions.
The tire manages to boost its overall load durability and damage resistance. The strengthened structure allows the tire to boost the casing's durability and driving stability. They maintain the ideal tire shape under load and driving pressure, which greatly improves the load durability. On the other hand, the tire's stone ejecting pattern helps prevent stone retention. This protects the tire from harming the casing, ensuring a safer, damage-resistance performance.
The Firestone Regency IND Traction Utility Plus upgrades its controllability with the directional tread design. The model was designed with a ribbed tread design that maintains surface contact at all times. As a result, it boosts steering responsiveness and driving stability. The driving surface contact provides better steering responses and accuracy, while it secures structural stability as well. This ensures the driver's better control over the vehicle throughout the performance.
This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.
There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.
The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
