OVERVIEW

The Firestone Firehawk AS V2 is a performance and high performance, all season tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Firestone offers a 50,000 miles treadwear warranty with this model.

This asymmetric tread design and all season compound enhance year-round performance. In this manner, the optimal tread design keeps close road contact in all weather conditions, while the compound maintains rubber flexibility in summer and winter conditions. These elements guarantee the tire's excellent performance in dry, wet, and winter situations. On the other hand, wide circumferential grooves disperse water and slush from below the footprint, preventing hydroplaning. As a result, this tread design offers a safe driving experience throughout the year.

This model guarantees great controllability. The asymmetric tread design closely follows the road, boosting steering responsiveness and driving stability. This tire also upgrades cornering and maneuvering. On the other hand, the strengthened internal structure and durable rubber compound improve the high speed performance. The strong construction does not allow the tire to deform under high speed performance, while the rubber compound prevents heat build-up along the tread area. These enable the tire's safe performance even at high speeds.

The tire lengthens its tread life and usability. This tread design and rubber compound prevent irregular and premature wear formations along the tread area. In other words, the tread pattern evenly distributes driving pressure along the tread area, while the rubber compound slows the treadwear rate down. As a result, this tire offers longer service life.

The Firestone Firehawk AS V2 offers a quiet drive. The asymmetric tread design enables the tire to decrease road noise generated during the performance. This tread reduces sound waves, preventing them from being heard in the vehicle's cabin. As road and tread noise levels do not reach the passengers, they are able to boost driving enjoyment. In other words, the tire ensures a quiet and comfortable driving experience.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
